Grass paper drinking straws

Grass paper drinking straws are the ecological innovation in the field of drinking straws and tubes.

The grass paper used consists of fresh fibres from dried grass (approx. 30%) and cellulose (approx. 70%). In its dried state, the raw material can be processed without the addition of energy. The areas on which the grass is grown come exclusively from suitable compensation areas. These are not required for food or animal feed production.

Why drinking straws made from grass paper?
