Leave to soak in overnight and rub off excess oil. Repeat this treatment regularly in the future. Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, do not leave the item in water for a long time, but clean all sides with warm water and scouring powder for thorough cleaning. Then stand upright and allow to air dry.
